Training Tempered programs are designed and coached by David Amato, CSCS.
David designs fitness programs for motorcycle racers in both road racing
and motocross.
For optimal program design, David draws on his motorcycle, motocross and sports car track day experience to determine the particular physical demands of each motorsport. Research, analysis of movement, studies in technique and energy system requirements are all examined for each sport to provide essential factors for training his athletes.

Racer Fitness Class at Ellicott
City Motorsports
This is an intense 60-minute fitness class designed to prepare motorcycle
racers and riders for the demands of the sport both on and off road. The
class consists of aerobic and strength exercises.
Equipment needed for this class: bicycle, stationary trainer, and work
gloves
Starts October 3, 2007 @ 8:00PM-9:00PM
On-Line Coaching
Training Tempered offers 3 levels of programs. The levels are based on
the frequency of communication with Coach David. This works very well
for the motivated athlete who seeks to interact regularly with a coach.
10-Week Program
This program is for athletes who are seeking a sports specific exercise
program consisting of all the components that will progress them to a
higher level of fitness. This program is supported by email interaction
of 1 x per week.
